He was so patient as I had a leg brace from a knee surgery, he was mindful of having me rest while walking and assisted with stairs. Thank you Carlos, it was an amazing day!”

“We made this reservation for a tour in Spanish. But everyone else on the tour was Portuguese - so we were the only spanish-speaking people on the bus. Then the tour guide told us he would do the tour in Portuguese, but with a few short pieces of information in Spanish. We were also disappointed that most of the historic sites were "drive-by" or "walk-by" (without time to enter). So by the end of the tour, we really learned very little about Salvador de Bahia.”

“A Soulful Journey Through Salvador’s Afro-Brazilian Heart If you’re seeking a tour that goes far beyond sightseeing and dives deep into the soul of Salvador, the Afro Brazilian Roots City Tour with Monia is an absolute must. Her storytelling was rich, layered, and full of reverence for the people and practices that have shaped Salvador’s identity. One of the most moving stops was our visit to a Candomblé Terreiro, where we learned about the sacred…”
