I think these issues were due to a mixup with the tour guide, so I understand that the driver did his best to show us around and was very nice. Still, I don’t recommend this tour”

“I wouldn’t recommend it. Not because it’s not safe or anything. This specific tour is a rip off. I traveled solo. I arrived early because they asked us not to be late with only a 5 min grace period. I arrived early and they weren’t even there. They told me to wait until the appointment time. I said ok. 9:15 came and he was still MIA. With only a 5 minute grace period, I messaged them. I had to go looking for him. Not a good way to start off the tour. There are parts of the favela where you cannot take photos and that’s understandable and u respected that.…”
